A traitor in their midst has Duccio murdered and Polyxena grieves. But in her grief she seeks answers and finds new strength to overthrow the evil Duke and gain back the kingdom he has usurped for his own gain.
Ms Girolami shows wisdom beyond her years with traits of character and prose that springs from their being, breathing even greater life into an exciting story.

From the beginning of your journey with Polyxena, you are drawn into the 15th century.
The Knights Templar is filled with plot twists, mystery, revenge, evil, bravery, romance and
a strong heroine. Of course, a deliciously handsome knight. Everything needed to keep you
engrossed from beginning to end. I found myself often looking at the author's beautiful cover.
Amazing artist and writer. Could be a fabulous movie. Can't wait to read Book II.
This spectacular epic is a real game-changer. There is no book out there like it. Knowing that this is a trilogy excites this reader even more. In fact, "Mysterious Templar" includes the first chapter of the second book, "The Crimson Amulet". I love what I have read of that incredible first chapter and anxiously await the Feburary 14th release of this new novel. "Mysterious Templar" marks a monumental achievement by author Adriana Girolami who has written a book that recalls the likes of Sir Walter Scott's "Ivanhoe".
You take a dive into the heart of 15th century France when you read Adriana Girolami's fascinating novel. This book made history come alive for me with its fine blend of adventure, history and romance. It's beguiling heroine, Polyxena, takes you with her as she lives a colorful and romantic adventure. It would make a great movie! I can't wait to read the second book in this fine trilogy.
I had difficulty putting this exciting book down until the powerful, surprising ending! I am glad the talented author is writing a sequel to this superb novel, I am eager to read more of the spectacular adventures of the chivalrous Polyxena. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves adventure, romance, betrayal and mystery!
Mysterious Templar is an exciting novel that captivates you from the beginning to end. The imaginative and unique storyline, filled with unexpected twists and turns, will take you on a wonderful journey into the splendor of the 15th century. I loved the heroine Polyxena, a truly enthralling character. She is beautiful, exciting and desired by many men, until she finds her true love in a mysterious, dashing knight who wins her heart.
I believe this book would make an amazing movie, filled with excitement, mystery and love. The storyline is quite unique, unlike anything expected in a historical romance. There is nothing predictable about this novel or cookie cutter in style. The rich descriptions captivated and transported me to the Middle Ages, a theatrical and fascinating time of history. Polyxena is truly a mesmerizing heroine who will captivate your heart with her courage, beauty and indomitable spirit
The book is action packed, intriguing, with a truly spectacular, unexpected ending. This is a novel that will hold your interest throughout and appeal to people who enjoy action, mystery, romance and a good dose of revenge! Highly recommended
Mysterious Templar is one of those rare books that combines an easy reading style with a pace that engages the reader from the opening page to its' climactic ending. Adriana's ability to tell a highly entertaining story in visually descriptive terms had me feeling as if I was reading a cliff hanger that didn't stop to breathe...that's the hallmark of a great story. I never runs flat and excites at every turn. The author has done an exemplary job at keeping the novel contextually accurate. Chapter Seven, "The Joust ", is an example of historical writing that transports the reader to the event where one can hear, see and feel the climactic struggle of the knights as they fight to win the battle and glory only victory will afford them.
Polyxena is nothing short of a heroine that at once is beautiful, kind and definitely a woman you'd want fighting along side you in battle.
